The purpose of this meetup group is to bring together fans of live music and hopefully meet up when we are there. If you live in the Boston area and plan to attend one of the bigger music festivals this year, let's meet. We can talk about new and upcoming bands, travel plans, etc. Upcoming festivals: Lollapalooza August 2-4, 2013 Grant Park, Chicago. Austin City Limits ... October 4-6 and 11-13. Austin Texas. Last year the lineup at the two festivals was very similar.
The Boston Book Festival is New England's largest annual literary event held in October. The yearly festival features more than 125 presenters and dozens of sessions for kids and adults, the BBF also boasts a bustling street fair, workshops for aspiring authors, an outdoor music stage, and more! But we're expanding our events to cover more of the calendar, and we want you to be a part of it! This group is for anyone who can't wait until October to get their fill of the BBF!

It often seems that the interesting events are in Boston or Cambridge. For many of us it means dealing with traffic, parking or trains. Wouldn't it be nice to have events nearby? Most likely they already do exist but we are not aware of them. This could be a great place to share your event and/or learn about other events. This Meetup is new and the webpage is under construction. Please give us time to grow and also feedback. Better yet volunteer to be an event host!

Founded in 2004, A3D (African Development through Drum and Dance) started with a group of friends who traveled to Senegal, West Africa on a two week journey that forever changed their lives. Some of those things include medicines, school computers, and much mo …
